Chef Reuben Dhanawade brings his global palette to the everyday dish with a soulful authenticity.  Born in Mumbai, India, he honed his craft in Delaware leading to pop-ups across the north east, staging under Chef Alex Stupak at Empellon Cocina in New York City, and working under celebrity Chef Maneet Chauhan in Nashville, TN.

Chopped Champion of Food Network's "Chopped" (Season 52, Episode 8), Chef Reuben has been making appearances across the media through various platforms.  He was a guest host for Barry Enderwick’s “Sandwiches of History” series, has done several brand partnerships for social media campaigns.  His most recent television victory was on Food Network's "Supermarket Stakeout", which aired in May of 2024.

In addition to his work in front of the camera, Chef Reuben has been the driving force behind several other media projects.  In 2020 he launched “Penne For Your Thoughts”, a YouTube cooking series that he filmed, edited and produced during lockdown.  This opened the doors to two seasons of his public access television show “Reuben’s Indian Kitchen”, which reached millions across the state of Delaware.  Beyond the culinary world, Reuben and one of his childhood best friends, Adam Cooke, have received press acclaim for their podcast “Guys Who Cry”, which focuses on men’s mental health.
